Welcome to Sunshine Day Nursery High Quality Childcare in Brighton and Shoreham We are a well established and professional provider of high quality nursery care and education to children from 3 months to 5 years. At our most recent inspection we were awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas of childcare practice by Ofsted.
Ofsted commented about our Brighton nursery: “A strong and outstanding aspect of the nursery’s provision, is the high quality of staff teaching and learning interactions with children; and the assessment and promotion of children's learning progress is excellent. The nursery is highly effective in its partnerships with parents and carers”. We are open 51 weeks a year providing full day care from 08:00 to 18:00 in Brighton and 08:00 to 17:45 in Shoreham. Our Brighton nursery is in a converted house in Kemptown while our Shoreham nursery is set in an old police station. Both nurseries have a warm and welcoming home from home feel. Sunshine Day Nursery works closely with external agencies to achieve high standards in care and education. Quality assurance and continual improvement schemes are in operation. Recently we were again awarded the Five Star Food Safety Award from the Food Standards Agency. The nurseries provide free dance and French lessons for our older children. The nurseries are registered with Ofsted Early Years and copies of our latest reports are available to view by clicking on the above tab, 'Our Ofsted Report'. We are also registered with the LEA for Early Education Funding available for all three and four year olds. |
